Project Overview
Moving Menu is a food truck locator and mobile ordering app. The goal is to provide a way for users to locate food trucks and order in a quick and easy fashion.

The Problem.
Busy workers, commuters, and food truck enjoyers lack the ability to locate and mobile order from food trucks.
The Goal.
Design an app for food trucks that allows users to easily locate, order, and pick up.
Target Audience and Personas
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m 
designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was working adults who don’t have time to cook meals and want to shop at small restaurants.
Research 
also revealed that time and ability to locate food trucks was not the only factor limiting users. 
Other user problems included obligations, interests, or challenges that make it 
difficult to get groceries for cooking or go to restaurants in-person.
The Plan.
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, determining information architecture, and responsive design.

Takeaways.
​​This app allows users to feel confident when ordering by allowing them to know when and where their order will be ready.
“Moving Menu in practice is actually really useful especially living in a city where restaurants are busy and the trucks move around a lot”
The process of making ideas into something usable is really powerful. The steps I took from brainstorming through the end of wireframing were challenging but made the high-fidelity design super clean and useful.
